Welcome to the Crynallt Primary School Eco Committee page.
We meet on a Tuesday at lunchtime to discuss our action plan and how we can ensure the school is being as Eco friendly as possible!
Here are our targets for the year:
- Promote healthy eating.
- Improve biodiversity.
- Global Citizenship.
We have recently completed a project to improve the school grounds and improve biodiversity. We designed and created a Sensory Garden using recycled tyres and lots of plants & flowers! Da iawn everyone!
We regularly check classroom lights, boards and whiteboards and ensure they are switched off if they are not in use. We have put up posters around the school reminding children, staff and visitors to use the recycling bins and to switch off lights if they are not in use. We also have regular litters picks around the school grounds.
