Nursery is the first step in your child’s formal educational journey. Although not statutory, our aim in Nursery is to provide all children with a wealth of learning experiences and opportunities to promote a lifelong love of learning and develop important integral skills.

There is a strong emphasis on Learning through Play.

Curriculum. At Crynallt we know that high-quality early education provision is essential to children’s development. The experiences, knowledge and skills needed for lifelong learning, active citizenship and future employment begin in the early years. We follow the curriculum for funded non-maintained nursery setting which promotes child-led and play-based experiences.

Outdoor Learning. There is a big emphasis on outdoor learning utilising our amazing outdoor spaces. Children have access to a trim trail, water play, muddy kitchens, loose parts and much more.
Stay and Play sessions are an opportunity for you and your child to explore the Nursery environment, meet staff and ask any questions you may have. You will receive an invitation to attend, along with other new starters and their parents, a month before your child starts.
